Aeriel Butler attended Huffman High School where she participated in Volleyball. Aeriel realized her passion for helping others as she went through high school.
After graduating high school in 2014 she went on to continue her studies at University of South Alabama. She would go on to transfer to Jefferson State Community College where her passion for the medical field was ignited. Aeriel went through a program with the Dannon Project where she became a certified Patient Care Technician and a Phlebotomist.
Phlebotomists draw blood for tests, perform blood transfusions, conduct research and run or assist with blood donations. Phlebotomy technicians are individuals who gravitate toward challenge, responsibility and compassion.
Aeriel excelled in the program, becoming a scholar in her class. After which, Aeriel was given the opportunity to work with Compass Lab at different schools administrating Covid test, where she now works full time.
Looking forward, Aeriel is extremely eager to continue her education and help others.
