Sharon obtained an Associate degree from Jefferson State Community College in
Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama-
Birmingham in Finance. Sharon has been employed for over 30 years at State Farm Insurance. She has experience in accounting, underwriting, and claims.
Sharon has been married for 31 years to Pastor Joseph E. Hill, he is the Senior
Pastor of Mt. Hillard Baptist Church. At Mt. Hillard, Sharon oversees the Women’s Ministry & other activities. Sharon and Pastor Joseph have 3 daughters; Jasmine Grace, Jade Faith and Jewel Hope who's the inspiration and origin of the store's name, 3 Daughters.
Sharon decided to open a beauty supply store for various reasons. The first was
observing a need for a Black Owned beauty supply store in a primarily Black community, also to be a role model for her 3 Daughters and other aspiring business owners . Sharon has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to show her 3 daughters and other Black children that they can do
whatever they aspire to do. Last but not least, Sharon wanted a store where all people could
have a safe space to shop, learn and feel loved. This is made possible by having
knowledgeable staffers that are capable of educating customers on the many available hair and beauty products.
Ultimately, Sharon wants 3 Daughter Beauty Supply to be a beacon for all to see and be drawn to. A haven if you will, for all hair and beauty enthusiast near and far.
